Iron Mountain: Leatrice Peronto age 74 of Hardwood, Michigan died Tuesday March 25, 2003 at Manorcare Health Services in Kingsford. Leatrice was born on April 7, 1928 in Iron Mountain, Michigan. She married Kenneth Peronto on September 27, 1946 in Foster City, Michigan. They resided in Iron Mountain for a few years before moving to Hardwood in 1952. Leatrice attended the Covenant Church in Foster City. Leatrice enjoyed cooking, gardening and was a huge Green Bay Packer Fan. She is survived by, her husband Kenneth who resides in Manorcare in Kingsford. Two sons, James (Bonnie) Peronto of FonDulac, WI., Kurt (Dawn) Peronto of Hardwood, MI., One sister, Verna Mae McKinney of Mobile, Alabama. Four grandchildren, Jim (Angela) Peronto of Anchorage, Alaska, Ryan Peronto of DesMoine, Iowa, Christopher Peronto of Iron Mountain, Shannon Peronto of Hardwood. Two great grandchildren, Savannah and Hunter. Preceded by, One grandson Steven Peronto. Visitation will be Thursday March 27, 2003 from 1-2pm at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain.
