LaVon M. Malkin, 91, of Crystal Falls, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2008, at her home. She was born April 14, 1917, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Frank and Matilda Rys. In 1948 she married Ralph Malkin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Malkin, one son, Gary Malkin, both of Crystal Falls; one brother, John Rys, France; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Estelle and Genia, and three brothers, Walter, Victor and Edward.
