Florence- Larry Alan Kurtz, age 56, of Florence, Wis., passed away Saturday, March 09, 2019, at his home.

He was born May 9, 1962, in Fond Du Lac, Wis., son of the late Donald and Josephine (Blodgett) Kurtz. Larry graduated from West Bend High School, West Bend, Wis. and following graduation joined the United States Army where he received a Purple Heart. Larry worked in construction as a general laborer. He resided in the Florence area for the past 11 years.

Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing and was interested in both history and science. He truly enjoyed nature, especially wolves.

He is survived by two sons, Cody and Daniel Kurtz, both of Florence, Wis.; two daughters Ashley Kurtz, Vulcan, Mich. and Suzie Kurtz, Florence, Wis.; mother of his children, Helena Petrick, Florence, Wis.; one brother, Mike (Linda) Kurtz, West Bend, Wis.; one granddaughter, Angel; two nieces, Stephanie and Andrea; and many good friends and extended family.
