Obituary

Niagara – Kyle Adrian Sean Rucinski, of Niagara WI. Passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, at his home.

Kyle was born May 18, 1985, in Iron Mountain, Mich., to John and Leslie (Jewell) Rucinski. He grew up in Niagara and attended Niagara High School. He attended The National Guard Challenge Academy in Fort McCoy, Wis., where he graduated top of his class.

Kyle served in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 to 2013. He was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, three Certificates of Commendation, achieved the rank of Sergeant, graduated as Company Honor Man from Recruit Training, received numerous other recognitions, and was one of those rare Marines who achieved 5.0/5.0 Proficiency and Conduct Marks. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan; U.S. Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida; and Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. He deployed to Qatar in service of Operation Enduring Freedom and participated in humanitarian relief efforts to aid the people of The Republic of Indonesia during the 2006 earthquake crisis.

After his service Kyle moved back to Niagara and enjoyed fishing, singing, playing guitar, and driving his motorcycle. He will be missed by his large family and numerous friends.

Survivors include his mother, Leslie (Robert) Phillips, Niagara, Wis.; his father, John (Lori) Rucinski, Florence, Wis.; his fiancé, Beth Brooks, Gwinn, Mich.; daughter Finley Pengrazi, Niagara, Wis.; brothers, Joshua (Angie Garrity) Rucinski, Green Bay, Wis., John (Denise) Kaldor, Green Bay Wis., Barry (Carrie) Kaldor, Niagara, Wis., Robert Phillips, Niagara, Wis. and Forrest and Brand Biller; sisters, HeidiMarie (Mike) Lantagne, Vulcan, Mich., Maria (Mike) Hoisington, Minn., Ashley Rucinski, Iron Mountain, Mich., Angie Larson, Lynn (Brian) Phillips, Bobbie Jo Phillips, and Khadija McMahon; special nephew, James; special nieces, Desiree, Sofia and Ali; and numerous other special nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert John Gordon Rucinski, and one sister, Mindi Ann Richtig.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home – Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wis. A celebration of Kyle's life will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The VFW Post #3635, Florence, Wis., will accord military honors at the funeral home. There will be a gathering afterward, location TBD. Burial will take place in the Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, Wis. Monday, September 12, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
