Pembine- Kris A. Miller, 59, of Pembine, Wis., passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Bellin Memorial Hospital, Green Bay, Wis.

She was born August 19, 1962, in Sparta, Wis., the daughter of Richard and Helen (Petrashek) Ertman. Kris grew up and graduated from school in Houston, Texas. She married Robert D. Miller, on June 8, 2002, at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine, Wis. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2019.

Kris worked as a CNA at Maryhill Manor in Niagara for 15 years. She always wanted to help people and devoted her life to her patients, family, and friends. Kris enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, fishing on the Great Lakes, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She spent the last years with Dan Ross and sharing memories at Rock Lake.

Survivors include her two sons, Brian Hallada, Texas, and Thomas Miller, Shawano, Wis.; two daughters, Michelle (John) Plonty, Aurora, Wis., and Tracy (Jeremy) Davies, Shawano, Wis.; her mother, Helen Ertman; five grandchildren, Aiden Miller, Madalyn Miller, Atticus Plonty, Alexis Davies and Elijah Davies; three brothers, Barry Ertman and Randall Ertman, both of Two Rivers, Wis., and Daniel Ertman, California; and two sisters, Kay (Mike) Hannes, Plymouth, Wis., and Susan Ertman, Two Rivers, Wis.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home-Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wis. A celebration of Kris' life will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
