Iron Mountain:
Kerry A. Struebing, age 49, of Kingsford, died, after a long battle with cancer, Monday, November 24, 2003, at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, Michigan.
Kerry was born in Iron Mountain, MI., April 17, 1954, son of Gerald and Marilyn (Blaire) Struebing. He attended and graduated from Kingsford High School. He took two years of accounting in Flint, where he received his degree in Accounting. On May 10, 1986, in Kingsford, he married Lynda Anderson. He drove mail truck for Mikaletz Trucking out of Minnesota for many years. Kerry did tax returns for many years for many local people. He also worked for Herzog-Dyer Excavating for a few years. Kerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to watch ball games at his brother-in-law's house and spending time with his family.
Along with his wife, Lynda and his parents, Kerry is survived by two daughters Miranda Adams of Daggett, Michigan; and Rebekah (Jeff) Henze of Canton, Michigan, one step-son Robert (Karen) Fox of Fort Lewis, Washington, one brother Rick (Sheila) Struebing of Kingsford, one sister Dawn Struebing of Milwaukee, WI, his paternal grandmother Lil Struebing of Niagara, WI., three grandchildren Lynda Lou, Megan, and Charlie, a nephew Toby Struebing, three nieces Jenny Rugolo, Monica (Kevin) Koslowski, and Stacy Struebing, plus many aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be Friday, November 28, 2003 from 10:00 – 11:00A.M. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. A Memorial service will be held Friday, November 28, at 11:00AM. at the Funeral Home. Celebrant Robert Fuse will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made out to the family in his memory.
