Kenneth "Ken" Levy, 72, of Pembine, Wis., passed away with his family at his side Saturday, March 2, 2013, at his home.
He was born August 20, 1940, in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Benjamin and Isabel (Dupont) Levy. Ken met and married Irma Vandeyacht in Brooklyn.
Ken was a photographer and taxi cab driver in New York before retiring to Kaukauna, Wis. After Irma's death in 2006, Ken spent his remaining golden years in the beautiful Northwoods of Pembine with his daughter, Rebecca, and family.
Ken is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Vincent) Czahor and Jodee Dankert; two sons, Gary (Gila) Levy and Ben Levy; grandchildren, Gabriel, Hannah, Jeffery, Ben, Joseph, and Kristine.
Along with his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his loving wife, Irma, and two brothers, Robert Levy and Al Levy.
Visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2013, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel. Funeral services will Monday, 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A dinner for all friends and family will immediately follow the services at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pembine. Pastor Gene Wickman will officiate. Burial will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Appleton Highland Memorial Park in Appleton, Wis.
