Kenneth Lehtinen, 79, of Crystal Falls, died Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette.
He was born April 12, 1928, in Crystal Falls, son of the late William and Rose (Stebic) Lehtinen.
Kenneth was a school bus driver for the Forest Park School District for 16 years. Prior to school bus driving he worked at the Chester Kudwa farms. He was a member of United Lutheran Church, Crystal Falls. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and wood carving and attending school sporting events.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Lehtinen, Kenneth (Mary) Lehtinen, Beltsville, Md., one daughter, Judith (John) Bjork, Kingsford; seven grandchildren, Chris Bjork, Greg Bjork, Melissa Jones, Anthony Lehtinen, Nicia Smith, John Bjork and Joanna Lehtinen; two great-grandchildren, Millie and Macey Bjork; and two sisters, Shirley Process, Alpha, and Joyce Lehtinen, Iron River. He was also loved by family and friends, Violet Lehtinen, Roger and Myra Bruns, Hazel Byers, and Frank Suheski.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 5, 2007, at United Lutheran Church, Crystal Falls. Rev. Michael Laakko will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
