Kenneth R. Held, 69, of Pembine, passed away Wednesday, December 09, 2015, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain.

He was born July 14, 1946, in Slinger, Wis. son of the late Gilbert and Dorothy (Schuck) Held.

Ken grew up in Slinger and served our country in the Vietnam War. He married Lynn Schmitt on August 24, 1990, in Slinger, Wis. Ken was employed by Tecumseh Power Products in Grafton, Wis. for 43 years before retiring. They moved to Pembine in 2009.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, visiting with his friends and especially the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his wife, Lynn; one son, Steve (Krystl) Held, Iron Ridge, Wis.; two daughters, Heidi (Jerry) Wichman, Slinger and Lisa (Phil) Kleinke, Campbellsport, Wis.; his close friend, JR of Niagara; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one granddaughter-in-law.

In accordance with Ken's wishes private family services will be held at a later date.
