Kenneth M. Clark, 61, of Florence, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014, at his home.
He was born August 11, 1953, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., son of Claude and Lucille (Kohler) Clark.
Ken grew up in Auburndale, Wis. and graduated from Auburndale High School. He went on to serve in the United States Marines and upon his honorable discharge returned to Wisconsin where he worked road construction around the state. He married Lisa Raubal on February 17, 1984, in Wausau. They resided in Florence. Ken worked as Regional Manager for Veolia Environmental Services out of the Norway office for 28 years.
He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Florence, the Trailblazers Sled Dog Club and the Wilderness Sportsman's Club. Ken could always be found helping others out, whether digging a basement or lending a hand. His passion for the outdoors could always find him hunting or fishing at Huron Bay.
Ken is survived by his wife, Lisa; one son, Kenneth (Ashley) Clark, Jr., Wis.; two daughters, Stacy (Paul) Peterson, Mosinee, Wis. and Rebecca (Anthony) Cronick, Florence; four brothers, Mike (Barb) Clark, Auburndale, Claude (Susie) Clark, Jr., Sheboygan, Wis., Kelly Clark, Marshfield, Wis. and Kevin (Connie) Clark, Wis.; two sisters, Pat (Kenny) Poeschel, Marshfield, Pammy (Jerry) Marg, Marshfield and three grandchildren, Mitchell, Max and Logan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Clark.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral Services will be held, Friday, August 29, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Florence. Rev. Gene Wickman will officiate. VFW Post No. 3635 of Florence will accord Military Honors at the church.
The family has chosen the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence to honor Ken's Legacy of Life.
