Obituary

Iron Mountain: Keith Gunville, age 75, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Kingsford, passed away May 29, 2004. He was born May 10, 1929, in Iron Mountain, the oldest son of John and Laura Gunville. He attended Kingsford High School where he developed his love for athletics, participating in many sports. He then attended Mount Saint Joseph's College in Baltimore, Maryland and Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, excelling in football, lettering four consecutive years. His business accomplishments include Southwest Marketing Director for Texaco Oil Company, president and founder of KMI Inc., a real estate computer publishing firm, and a quarter horse breeding and training facility in Tucson, Arizona. After Keith's retirement, he continued with his passion and love of raising horses as a hobby. Our Dad will be terribly missed by all and will forever be in our hearts. He is survived by loving sisters; Lois (Frank) Senger and Monica (Robert) Neldberg, and best friend and Brother Larry Gunville. He was the beloved father of his daughters Beth McConn and Jene Lindstrom and sons-in-law David and Glen. He was the loving grandfather of Rene Smith-McConn and Leah, Hillary and Samantha Lindstrom. He was preceded in death by his dear sister Mary Joan Hornstein. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5th, 2004, from 11a.m. – 1:00p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home. Pastor Stephen Cowen of Our Savior's Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, 1-800-342-2383.
