Kingsford – Katrina "Katie" Miilu, 33, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

She was born on December 23, 1991, in Escanaba, Mich.

Katrina was a devoted mother to her three daughters, and as a child she loved horses and she had a collection of collectable horse memorabilia, and as she grew she loved to hang out with friends, go for long walks, enjoyed collecting anything to do with cows and taking the kids out to the beach. She loved music especially by Celtic Woman, Caterina Valente, anything Disney and the Phantom of the Opera.

She is survived by her daughters, Jasmine Miilu, Isabella Miilu, and Hazel Miilu; brothers, Nehemiah (Haley) Bex, and Elijah Bex; sisters, Haddy (Michael) Miilu, Rebecca Bex, and Hannah Bex; nieces, Eleanore Miilu, Tabby Miilu, Muriel Miilu, and Lainey Bex; and nephews, Amos Miilu, and Finley Bex.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at First Covenant Church, Iron Mountain, Mich. A Celebration of Katie's Life will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday at the Church with Pastor Chad Harrison officiating. A Luncheon will follow immediately after the services.
