Iron Mountain- Kathleen M. Sacchetti, 84, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Aurora Bay Medical Center, Green Bay, Wisc.

She was born November 16, 1939, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Sparapani) Deldin. Kathy was a graduate of Kingsford High School, class of 1957. She married Joseph Sacchetti on July 5, 1958, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain. They resided in Munising, Mich., for a short period of time before moving back to Iron Mountain. Joe preceded her in death on April 18, 2003.

Kathy was an avid sports fan and could be found attending almost all of the Mountaineer and Flivver games over the years. She was a member of St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church and regularly attended the Adoration Chapel. She was also a member of the YMCA.

Kathy enjoyed flower gardening and the time spent with family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, John Sacchetti of Iron Mountain, Mich., and Anthony Sacchetti of Queen Creek, Arizona; two daughters, Jodi (Jim) Blichmann of Hudsonville, Mich., and Mary Sacchetti of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Dan) Terrell, Justine (Matt) Anderson, Jeff (Serena) Blichmann, Anna (Brian) Brcka and Michael Sacchetti; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, John Deldin of Iron Mountain, Mich.; one sister, Delores Pearson of Clear Water, Flor.; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joseph, Kathleen was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Louis Deldin; one brother-in-law, Arthur Pearson; and four sisters-in-law, Trudy, Betty, Barb, and Jeanette Deldin.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary & St. Joseph Church. Rev. Fr. Janusz Romanek will officiate. Burial will take place at Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain, Mich. A luncheon will be served at St. Mary & St. Joseph Church following the burial.
