Kathleen J. Jarvi, 66, of Crystal Falls, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Northstar Health System, Iron River. She was born May 3, 1943, in Stambaugh, daughter of the late Everett and Lorraine (Cornelia) Kaskisto. On September 1, 1962, she married Jerry Jarvi in Amasa. Kathleen was a graduate of Amasa High School. She was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Amasa and was the church organist for 20 years. Kathleen was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Jarvi, Crystal Falls; one daughter, Cherie (Tom) Abendroth, Arbor Vitae, Wis., one son, Kevin Jarvi, Amasa; three grandchildren, Chantal Abendroth, Megan Abendroth, Daniel Jarvi; two sisters, Bonnie (Mervin) Hughes, Maxine (Tony) Clark, Crystal Falls; and one brother, Dale (Bonnie) Kaskisto, Virginia, Minn.
