Karl L. Johnssen, age 96, of Crystal Falls and formerly of Sidnaw, died Sunday, December 18, 2005 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. He was born April 1, 1909 in Braemen, Germany son of the late Theodor and Betty Johnssen. He married the former Hildegard K.S. Guenther. She preceded him in death on September 28, 2000. A Memorial Service was held in the chapel at Victorian Heights in Crystal Falls. Rev. Michael Laakko, Pastor of United Lutheran Church, Crystal Falls officiated. Burial will be in the Sidnaw Cemetery, Duncan Township. The Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls is serving the family.
