Julia Ann (Ozoga) Hawks, 88, of Crystal Falls, passed away Friday, September 19, 2008, at the Iron County Community Hospital, Iron River, Mich. She was born April 8, 1920, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Ozoga. She was a life long resident of Crystal Falls and graduated from Crystal Falls High School, class of 1937. Julia was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. She is survived by her husband, Gordon; a son, Harry (Beverly) Hartzell, Enfield, Conn.; two granddaughters, Haley Hartzell, Enfield, Torri Johnson, Falmouth, Maine; great- grandson, Ryan Johnson, Falmouth; nephew, John Ozoga, Jr., Munising, Mich.; and six step-children. She was preceded in death by a sister,Mary (Ozoga) Ekert; and abrother, John Ozoga, both life long residents of Crystal Falls. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 24, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00 a.m., at the church. Rev. Dino Silvestrini will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
