IRON MOUNTAIN - Julia F. (Walstrom) Fassbender, 41, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson, Iron Mountain, Mich.

She was born March 18, 1981, in Norway, Mich., daughter of Robert and Karleen (Stenglein) Walstrom. Julia worked as a CNA for Evergreen Assisted Living in Kingsford, Mich.

Julia was a joy to be around and inspired others to better themselves. She was a loving mother to 3 children. Julia was very much loved by her mother and father, and brothers and will be sorely missed.

Survivors include her children, sons Dawson Lincoln and Paolo Lenzi and daughter Ecko Fassbender; her parents, Robert (Phyllis) Walstrom and Karleen (Mark) Deutschmann; four brothers, Joshua (Beth) Walstrom, Jake (Brooke) Walstrom, Ben (Jessica) Walstrom and Seth Walstrom and fiancé Khoury, together with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and dear friends.

A celebration of Julia's life will be held in the near future.

The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Iron Mountain, Mich., to honor Julia's legacy of life.
