Iron Mountain- Judith "Judy" A. Schillerstrom, 84, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away unexpectedly following an automobile accident on Monday, March 11, 2024.

She was born August 11, 1939, in Iron Mountain, Mich., the daughter of the late Frank and Matilda (Baldrica) Becco. Judy was a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain and a graduate of Iron Mountain High School, class of 1957. She married Wayne Schillerstrom on August 1, 1959, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain, Mich.

Judy worked as an officer for Khoury Brothers for 11 years and Les Cove for 30 years before retiring in 1992. In 1993, she began working as an office manager for RAS Distributors.

Judy enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with family.

Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Wayne Schillerstrom; three sons, Randy Schillerstrom, Iron Mountain, Mich., Ricky (Paula) Schillerstrom, Kingsford, Mich., and Robert (Michele) Schillerstrom, Breitung Township, Mich.; three grandchildren, Janelle Baker, Heather Donaldson, and Kevin Schillerstrom; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dianne Pietruszynski.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas (Darlene) Becco, and one brother-in-law, David Pietruszynski.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 15, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. Prayers will be recited at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain., with Fr. Rev. Michael Chenier officiating. Burial will take place in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain, Mich.
