Obituary

Judith A. Conklin, 72, of Pembine, Wis., passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010, at her home. She was born on September 2, 1938, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Senfner) Mutz. Judy lived in Milwaukee and attended Holy Angels Catholic School, St. Roberts Junior High School, and graduate from Messmer High School in June of 1956. Judy married Roger Conklin on September 29, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wis.; he preceded her in death on June 28, 2001. She worked for the Four Seasons Resort for many years and later for the First National Bank of Niagara where she was employed from April 27, 1987 until she retired on June 31, 2005. She enjoyed golfing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Judy is survived by two sons, Roger Conklin, III., Pembine, Bryan (Dawn) Conklin, Green Bay, Wis.; one daughter, Vicki (Troye) Hering, Florence; one brother, Jim (Virginia) Mutz, Manchester, Mo.; one sister, Joan Wucherer, Baraboo, Wis.; one sister-in-law, Darlene (Richard) Gehling, Dunbar; and one granddaughter, Jacqueline Hering; three step-grandchildren, Brittany, Joseph, and Catherine; her most dearest friend, Herold Voelker, Pembine; special caregiver, Rose Renschin;, Pembine; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other special friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Edward Wucherer, June 2, 2010. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Pembine Cemetery, Pembine.
