Joyce A. Kanyuh, 75, of Iron Mountain, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Maryhill Manor, Niagara. She was born January 30, 1936, daughter of the late Clifton and LaVerne (Allard) Larson. Joyce married Ken Kanyuh on February 2, 1952. He survives. Joyce lived in Lower Michigan and Ohio for 25 years before returning to Norway. She spent many years helping her husband own and operate several area restaurants. Following retirement, they traveled south and west for many winters. She loved her little dogs and caring for her flowers. Joyce is survived by her husband, Ken; two sons, Ken, Jr. (Ann) Kanyuh, Branson, Mo., Rock (Jeanne) Kanyuh, Appleton, Wis.; one daughter Shelly Steele, Branson; five grandchildren, Chad, Shannon, Clifton, David, Dakota; two great-grandchildren, Cheyanne and Mason. Graveside services will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Dickinson County Memorial Gardens.
