Obituary

Dunbar- Joyce Carol Brown, 71, of Dunbar, Wis., was gifted with Eternal life on Friday, June 25, 2021. She was born October 1, 1949, in Manitowoc, Wis., daughter of the late Ronald and Esther Jeske. Joyce graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, Wis., class of 1967. She married John Brown on August 31, 1973, and shortly after moved to Suamico, Wis., where she stayed until retirement. After graduating high school, Joyce worked for H&R Block until her retirement. Joyce enjoyed trap shooting, gardening, volleyball, shooting pool, horseback riding and had taught and played softball. Survivors include her loving husband, John Brown; one daughter, Anne (James) Shallow; one son, Troy (Saeko) Newton; two step-sons, Michael, and Patrick Brown; one step-daughter, Kathy Overmeyer; three brothers, David (Sue) Jeske, Donald (Sue) Jeske, and Jeff (Peggy) Jeske; two sisters, Kathy (Denise) Kujawa and Betty (Reggie) Schmidt; sister-in-law, Vicki Jeske; many grandchildren; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband, Douglas Newton, a daughter, Ronny L. Frehse, and one brother, Daniel Jeske. A Celebration of Joyce's life will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Four Way in Suamico, Wis.
