Obituary

Iron Mountain: Josephine De Stefano, age 83, of Iron Mountain, died Sunday, October 12, 2003, at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, Illinois. Josephine was born on July 2, 1920, in Norway, Michigan to the late Primo and Amelia (Bertoldi) Cardin. She moved to Niagara, Wisconsin, at a young age where she attended school and graduated from Niagara High School. She married Frank De Stefano and he preceded her in death on December 26, 1996. She is survived by one son, F. Dennis De Stefano if Maui, Hawaii, two daughters, Christine De Stefano of Maui, Hawaii, and Terri De Stefano Simi of Chicago, two sisters, Lucille Klusken and Mary Cardin both of Iron Mountain, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Gerald, Rudolph, and Leo. Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2003, from 5 to 7 P.M. at Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 18, 2003, at 8:30A.M. at the Jacobs Funeral Home with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:00A.M. at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford. Fr. Joseph Gouin will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, Wisconsin.
