Niagara- John J. Zbilski, 71, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay, Wis.
He was born February 6, 1948 in Palatine, Illinois, son of the late John and Elsie (Gunther) Zbilski. John grew up and graduated high school in Chicago. On December 31, 2005, he was united in marriage to Francie Jensen in Las Vegas. They resided in Green Bay before moving to Niagara in 2017. John worked as a truck driver for a transfer company.
He enjoyed watching television, especially cowboy and old west shows and the history channel. Those that knew him know he had a hilarious sense of humor, an infectious laugh and smile.
Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years, Francie, Niagara; five sons, Dennis Lyon, Pittsburgh, Penn., Randy Lyon, Florida, Scott Lyon, Florida, Jody (Stephanie) Dickerson, Alabama, and Johnny (Emily) Dickerson, Kingsford, Mich.; one sister, Joan Paske, Palatine, Illinois; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by one brother, Roland Zbilski; and two sisters, Dorothy and Lorraine.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wis. A prayer will be offered Thursday, 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
