September 6, 1934 – December 2, 2015
John A. Wyscoki, 81, of Quinnesec passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Maryhill Manor Nursing Home, Niagara.
He was born September 6, 1934, in Goodman, Wis., son of the late John and Anastasia (Renkas) Wysocki.
John grew up in Goodman. He married Joann Harriet Bawiec on September 15, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wis. They resided in Milwaukee, Port Washington, Wis., Fence, Wis. Homestead, Wis. and in 2008, moved to Quinnesec. While living in Milwaukee, John worked in maintenance at a plastic plant; he later worked in Laona, Wis. Homestead and the last position he held was in Armstrong Creek, Wis. at CTS Veneer.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, the outdoors and especially the time he spent with family and friends.
John is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joanne; one son, Eric Wysocki, Quinnesec, three daughters, Vicki (Paul) Schubring, Gainesville, Fla., Debra (Diana Sokolewicz) Wysocki, Genesee, Wis. and June Gardiner, Quinnesec; three brothers, Joseph (Marilyn) Wysocki, Goodman, Walter (Kathy) Wysocki, Armstrong Creek and Stanley (Pat) Wysocki, Daytona Beach, Fla.; one sister, Marie Bethe, Appleton, Wis.; two grandchildren, Martin (Tabitha) Whitmer and Lisa Whitmer and two great-grandchildren, Paige Whitmer and Lincoln Whitmer, all of Wauwatosa, Wis.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by many brothers and one sister, Sophie Franczak.
A Memorial Celebration will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Church, 612 Carpenter Avenue, Iron Mountain. Pastor Ted Margis will officiate.
