John A. Robarge, 52, of Crystal Falls, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. He was born September 15, 1957, in Crystal Falls, son of the late Peter P. and Dorothy (Robinson) Robarge. John was a graduate of Crystal Falls High School, Class of 1975. He was employed at Crystal Lumber throughout high school. He managed Crystal Kitchens of Eagle River from 1976 to 1980. Returning to Crystal Falls in 1981 he worked at Crystal Lumber until 2004. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his Dad and brothers. He leaves his beloved home in Crystal Falls where he enjoyed spending time and entertaining friends. He enjoyed snowmobiling and loved animals. John was a kind-hearted and gentle person and will be sadly missed by family and friends. Survivors include, two brothers, Peter R. (friend Lynn) Robarge, Iron Mountain, Larry (Jill) Robarge, Crystal Falls; two sisters, Karen Willman, Crystal Falls, Cindy (Patrick) Curtis, Kingsford; 15 nieces and nephews, Julie, Jason, Misty, Shawn, Troy, Kelly, Derrick, Adam, Jen, Tim, Chris, Mike, Charlie, Robert, and Carrie; eight great-nieces and nephews; and special friend, Laura Urban. A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m.,Thursday, April 15, 2010, at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. Rev. Michael Laakko will officiate.
