John W. Petrick, 50, of Florence, Wis., passed away Wednesday, June 03, 2009, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain. He was born May 14, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wis, son of Wesley and Josephine (Fischer) Petrick. He married Helena Marie Jaromin on April 28, 2009, in Florence. John loved the country, wolves, hunting, fishing, and listening to classic country music. He lived life for today. He always said, you can't change the past and you never know what your future holds, so all you can do is make the most of today and enjoy it. Survivors include his wife, Helena; mother, Josephine Petrick, Necedah, Wis.; three sons, Joey Liimatta, Mich., Bradley Liimatta, Sheboygan, Wis., Stephen (Suzie) Liimatta, Sheboygan, Wis.; one daughter, Amanda (Marcello) Belligo, Minn.; two step-sons, Cody Kurtz, Daniel Kurtz; two step-daughters, Ashley Kurtz, Suzie Kurtz, all of Florence; three brothers, Mike (Nancy) Petrick, Milwaukee, Wis., Rick Petrick, Merriville, Ind., Dan (Beth) Petrick, San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Patricia (Bob) Michalski, Hartford, Wis., Bonnie (Stephen) Jandrowski, Cudahy Wis.; and one grandson, Joshua David Liimatta. John was preceded in death by his father, Wesley.
