John J. Pagac, Jr., 62, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich. He was born July 11, 1950, in Milwaukee, son of the late John J. and Beatrice (Pokorny) Pagac, Sr. John grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee. While living in Milwaukee, he worked at Singer Machine Co. for 15 years. He then took a position with the US Postal Service and worked as a letter sorter in Milwaukee for 12 years before transferring to the Kingsford Branch. He retired in 2011. John enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, going to the casino and spending time with his family and many friends. He is survived by one son, Andrew (Haley) Pagac, Hartland; one step-son, Jeff Volrath, California; one step-daughter, Amy Ebert, Milwaukee; one brother, Robert (Linda) Pagac, Milwaukee; one granddaughter, Karissa; one nephew, Steven and one niece Jennifer (Tim) Klug. The visitation will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. A Celebration of life will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. James Danielson will officiate.
