Crystal Falls-John T. Krizka Jr., age 62, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at Aspirus Hospital, Wausau, WI He was born on December 16, 1953 in Chicago, Ill., son of John T. and Joan (Olson) Krizka. John grew up in Des Plaines, Ill. and attended Main Twp. East High School, Park Ridge, Ill. He worked in construction and was employed by the Us Government. John worked on many projects most noted the Great Lake Naval Base in Waukegan, Ill. He was an avid fisherman. John is survived by; his mother, Joan of Amasa, Mich., five sisters, Patricia Ashcraft, Crystal Falls, Mich., Kristin (Robert) McArdle Hampshire, Ill, Catherine (Ernest) Swanson, North Fort Meyers, Fla., Joan (Frank) Zangara, Palatine, Ill., and Jennifer (Brad) Toivonen, Amasa, Mich., four brothers, Gerald (Carol Lentz) Krizka, Palatine, Ill., Joseph Krizka, Amasa, Mich., Charles Krizka, Crystal Falls, Mich., and Thomas Krizka, Amasa, Mich., In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Cecelia Krizka and one brother, James William Krizka. A Memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 2, 2016, 9 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls, Mich. Rev. Fr. Jose Maramattam will officiate. Burial will be in Hematite Twp.
