Niagara-JoAnne C. Behnke, age 66, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Wednesday, August 08, 2018, at her home.

She was born November 17, 1951, in Wynona, Minn., daughter of the late Orville and Blossom (Leonardt) Zastrow. JoAnne grew up in Sheboygan, Wis. and was a graduate of South High School, Class of 1969. On November 26, 1969, she was united in marriage to Ronald Behnke and they moved to Niagara in 1973. JoAnne worked for Doug's Hilltop and Holiday Kitchen, Jim's Restaurant, Wally's Bar, Maryhill Manor, and then for Home Health Care for Marinette County.

She enjoyed going to the casino, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and traveling. JoAnne especially enjoyed the time spent with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Ronald; two sons, Gordon (Ann Rose) Behnke and Walter (Sara) Behnke, both of Niagara, Wis.; and one grandson, Brady Behnke.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home-Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wis. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Lehmann will officiate.
