Kingsford: Jerry A."Dimps" Grailer age 65, of Kingsford, Michigan passed away Thursday, December 8, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain. He was born December 28, 1939, in Kingsford, Michigan, son of the late Louis and Verna (Walton) Grailer. On August 15, 1959, Jerry married Susan Johnson in Kingsford. She survives. Jerry was a long haul truck driver working until February of 2005. He also worked for the Dickinson County Sheriffs Department as a deputy for over 20 years. He was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and especially his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all. Survivors include three sons Jerry Grailer Jr. of Aurora, Randy (Gidget) Grailer of Iron Mountain, Robert Grailer of Kingsford; one daughter Cathy "Tweety" (Patrick) Babb of Kingsford; two brothers William (Shirley) Grailer and Albert "Pooch" (Ursula) Grailer all of Kingsford; one sister Teresa (Pete) Rossato of Kingsford; fifteen grandchildren Valerie, Kimberly, Donald, Jason, Alicia (Tony) Guiliani, Randy (Andrea) Jr., Nickolas, Felicia Michaud, Joseph, Brittany Michaud, Ryan, Jeffrey and Amanda Grailer, Jennifer Babb and Jessica Babb; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 2005, from 10:00 – 12:00 noon at Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home. Father Joseph Gouin will officiate. Burial will be in Breitung Township Cemetery in Quinnesec. A Memorial will be established in Jerry's memory.
