Crystal Falls-Jeremy J. Hill, age 35, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away at his home unexpectedly on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

He was born April 23, 1984 in Crystal Falls, Mich., to Albert L. Hill and Rose Bortolini. Jeremy was a lifelong resident of Crystal Falls. He had worked as a dispatcher and heavy equipment operator for several years.

Jeremy was an outdoorsman who enjoyed collecting and shooting guns. He also enjoyed numerous different sports, playing poker with the guys, spending as much time with the love of his life Afton, family and friends and beloved dogs. Jeremy loved spending time with kids and was known as "Uncle Jer".

Survivors include his parents, Albert Hill and Rose Bortolini, Crystal Falls, Mich.; longtime companion and soul mate, Afton Armstrong, Crystal Falls, Mich.; one brother, James (Krystal) Hill, Bowie, Tex.; two sisters, Tiffany (Josh) Wise, Mineral Wells, Tex., and April Hill, Crystal Falls,Mich. Jeremy has numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins located all over the country.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls, Mich. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, 3:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
