Kingsford-Jennifer Bray, 68, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Monday, October 23, 2017, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich. She was born August 19, 1949, in Ashland, Wis., daughter of the late Laurel and Lillian (Plym) Widell. Jennifer grew up in Illinois, living in Chicago and Des Plaines, Ill. and was a graduate of Maine Township High School, Class of 1968. She married Bruce Bray on September 25, 1971, in Illinois. Jennifer worked in the Audio Department in a library in Palatine, Ill. for over 13 years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading books, and especially the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Bruce Bray; one son, Erik Bray, Elgin, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Devyn Bray. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Widell. In accordance with Jennifer's wishes private family services were held.
