Jeanette Wickman
CRYSTAL FALLS — Jeanette L. Wickman, 78, of Crystal Falls died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at her home.
Jeanette was born Jan. 10, 1924, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Walter and Sophie Mahoski.
She married Stanley Wickman and together they lived most of their lives in Amasa.
Jeanette was an avid reader, loved to sing and listen to music, was an active gardener, loved to bake and was an all around excellent housekeeper.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley; two daughters, Bernadette (Richard) Smith of Green Bay, Wis., and Donna (John) Martinson of Amasa; four grandchildren, Bill, Heather (Bob), Todd (Marnie) and Anastasia, and four great-grandchildren, Ashley, Zachery, Rusty and Halley; a brother, Joe Mahoski of Ishpeming, and three sisters, Evelyn Gratten of Flat City, Fla., Virginia Belongie of Gaastra and Eleanor Goodreau of Iron Mountain.
Jeanette was also preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Richard; a sister, Irene Mechon, and a grandson, Brian.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home of Crystal Falls.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. Herbert Kolenda will officiate.
