In loving memory of Herbert C. Berg, born Chicago, Ill. on February 10, 1929, to December 29, 1996, retired truck driver and Jean P. Berg, born Hermansville, Mich., March 3, 1930, to December 29, 2009, retired executive assistant. Both are survived by their daughter, Jacalyn Smith of San Jose, Calif. and their son, Michael Berg of Belmont, Calif.; four grandchildren, Michael, Peter, Melissa, and Michele. Jean (Tomasi) Berg is survived by one brother, David Tomasi, of Hermansville. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 3, 2010, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church, Hermansville. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the church to commemorate their "coming home" together, to celebrate their life, and be placed in their final resting place in Meyer Twsp. Cemetery. Rev. Michael Vichich will officiate. The Hermansville American Legion Post No. 340 will accord graveside military honors.
