Iron Mountain- Janice M. Knutson, 70, of Fence, Wis., passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020, at her daughters' home in Iron Mountain, Mich. She was born March 4, 1949, in Goodman, Wis., daughter of the late Howard E. and Charlotte E. (Olson) Knutson. Janice grew up in Florence, Wis., and was a graduate of Florence High School, class of 1968. She spent 30 years as a cook at the Coleman Lake Club. Janice enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping, and had taught her children how to ice fish. Most especially she enjoyed the time spent with family and friends. Survivors include her partner of the last 25 years, Paul Crewz; one son, James (Mary) Kowalkowski, Goodman, Wis.; three daughters, Peggy (Dave Johnson) Neuens, Iron Mountain, Mich., Patty (Scott) Lieburn, Kiel, Wis., and Kathleen (Michael) Tatar-Sipple, Goodman, Wis.; two sisters, her twin-Joyce (Richard) Wolosyn, Fence, Wis., and Karla Wulf, Florence, Wis.; thirteen grandchildren, Whitlee, Montana, Hope, Navada, Austin, Sierra, Colton, Kelsey, William, Elizabeth, Madelaine, Emma and Sophie; and by one great-grandchild, Lochlynn.
