Jane A. Grosse, 94, of Crystal Falls, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born April 22, 1919, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Edmund and Doris (Cummings) Stacy. Jane grew up in Crystal Falls and graduated from Forest Park High School. She married Bill Grosse on September 1, 1941, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. He preceded her in death in 1973. After being married, Jane and Bill resided in Detroit, St. Louis, and Dallas. After Bill passed away, Jane moved back to Crystal Falls to be closer to her family. She was a member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Jane was an accomplished water color artist and an excellent seamstress. She is survived by three sons, Bardwell Grosse, Chicago, Tessier "Paul" (Carolyn) Grosse, Crystal Falls, Noel Grosse, Green Bay, Wis.; three daughters, Kathleen (Glen) CasaGranda, Alaska, Dianne O'Connell, Louisville, Ky., Stacy Grosse, Columbia, Tenn.; four sisters, Corrine Ross, Caspian, Mich., Naomi Phillips, Amasa, Mich., Rita Vela, Colorado, Bernadette Wolffe, Chicago; seven grandchildren, John Grosse, William Grosse, Dion Grosse, Christine Grosse, Liam O'Connell, Jane Hopen, Chris Dupreyon; three great-grandchildren, Leo Grosse, George Grosse, and Gabriella Pedroli. In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. Rev. Fr. Jeffrey Kurtz will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
