Amberg:
James N. Nutt Sr., age 65, a life long resident of the area, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette, WI.
He was born May 27, 1940, in Marinette County, Wisconsin, the son of Newell and Agnes (Kent) Nutt. He grew up in Amberg and attended school there. He was an Iron Worker for Local Union 8. He helped build the Mackinac Bridge and the Tower Drive in Green Bay. He was involved in numerous large projects. He enjoyed the outdoors, cutting pulp, hunting and fishing. He fished in many pro tournaments.
Survivors include his wife Luella of over 35 years of Tuscon, Arizona, three sons James Jr. (Chris) Nutt of Oshkosh, WI, Jesse (Debbie) Nutt of Georgia, Nathan (Mindy) Nutt of DePere, WI, three daughters Cheryl (Steven Fay) Folk of Tuscon, Arizona, Kristine (Mark) Willis of Pembine, WI, and Deborah Maldonado of DePere, WI, two sisters Bonnie Hubbard of Athelstane, WI, and Patsy(Ralph) Oberleitner of Wausaukee, WI, twenty-one grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by a sister Sherri Vertz, and two grandchildren Mark S. Willis Jr. and Sarah L. Willis.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 9, 2005, from 9-11a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine. Funeral services will be at 11:00a.m. at the church. Pastor Gene Wickman will officiate. Burial will be in Amberg Cemetery.
