James L. Linder, 50, of Fence, Wis. died Monday, March 10, 2008, at his home.
He was born September 25, 1957, in Hartford, Wisconsin, son of the late Lawrence and Bernadette Linder. James was raised in Slinger, Wis. and graduated from Slinger High School. He remained in Slinger until 1988, when he moved to Goodman, Wis. James was employed for 11 years at Caswell Lumber Company, and also worked on many log home projects in the area.
James enjoyed woodworking, his family and friends, and especially joking around.
He is survived by one brother, Larry (Rosanne), West Bend, Wis.; three sisters, Judi (James) Horner, West Bend, Wis., Mary Schmeling, Milwaukee, Wis., Pat (Stan) Washburn, Slinger; special friend, Angel Grimmer; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by a brother, Paul.
Visitation will be Friday, March 14, 2008, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. A time of reflection will be offered 6:45 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman, Wis. in the spring.
