Iron Mountain-James A. Hood, age 38, of Norway, Mich., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1978 in Iron Mountain, to Robert Hood and Margretha (Waubiness) Paquin. James enjoyed playing cards, especially Texas Hold'em, going to the Casino and gambling and attending Indian ceremonies. He also enjoyed spending time with his daughters and with his dog, Ruger. Survivors include his parents, Bob (Vicki) Hood and Margie (Guy) Paquin; two daughters, Desirae and Isabella; one sister, Kaitlyn; girlfriend, Kayla; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Jacobs Funeral Home. Pastor Kevin Sullivan will officiate.
