Iron Mountain-James Edward Hogberg Jr., 81, of Quinnesec, Mich., passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at ManorCare Nursing & Rehab., Kingsford, Mich.

He was born on October 6, 1936, in Norway, Mich., son of the late James E. and Mae (Pearney) Hogberg Sr. Jim graduated from Norway High School, Class of 1954. He married Lois Perin at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Vulcan, Mich.

Jim is survived by his wife Lois; two sons, Robert (Beth) Hogberg, Suwanee, Georgia, and John (Janis) Hogberg, Iron Mountain, Mich.; one daughter, Anna Marie (David) Robinson, Norway, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Sarah), Jessy (Kelly), Nick, Jake, Jamie (Derek), Matthew and Robert; six great-grandchildren , Brady, Alyssa, Cole, Porter, Leo and Joslyn; one sister, Carol (Willard) Turini, Norway; and his best buddy, Rugger.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his infant brother, one sister-in-law, Joan Harvey and one daughter-in-law, Katie Hogberg.

In accordance with Jim's wishes there will be no services.
