Obituary

James W. Dykstra, 27, of Pembine, Wis., passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 22, 2007, at his home. He was born January 8, 1980, in Green Bay, Wis., son of Warren and Barbara (Cook) Dykstra. Jim graduated from Pembine High School in 1998. Jim married Ashley Ann Clontz on July 24, 2004. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, and four wheelers. Most of all, Jim enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughter, parents, and brothers. Besides his parents and wife, Ashley, Jim is survived by one daughter, Payton Elizabeth Dykstra (his pride and joy); two brothers, John (Lisa) Dykstra, Pembine, Ward (Marlo) Dykstra, Parkland, Fla.; two uncles, Pete (Carol) Dykstra, Fox Lake, Wis., Paul Cook, Esmund, N.D.; one brother-in-law, Keith Werner, Amberg, Wis.; grandparents-in-law, Ted and Pearl Clontz, Pembine. Jim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Margret Dykstra, John and Barbara Cook; one cousin, Kelly Dykstra; and mother-in-law, Sharon Werner. Visitation will be Saturday, April 28, 2007, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. A memorial service will be Saturday, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Rev. Mark Ryan will officiate. The Dykstra family would like to thank the family and friends that showed help and support through this difficult time. A memorial will be established in Jim's memory.
