Iron Mountain: James P. Donaldson, age 66, of Iron Mountain, Michigan, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2004, at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain. He was born August 3, 1938, in Racine, Wisconsin, the son of Donald and Carrie (Cichanofsky) Donaldson. He grew up on Racine, WI, and joined the Naval Reserve from 1955-1956. He married Sally Ambrose September 29, 1969, in Missouri. They resided in Racine for many years, moving to Marquette in 1979. They moved to Iron Mountain in 1981 and have resided here since. He last worked for Spray Way Corporation as a sales manager. James enjoyed sporting events and spending time with his family. Survivors include his mother Carrie Donaldson of Granite Bluff, wife Sally, five sons James (Tamara) Donaldson of Arizona, Paul (Diane) Donaldson, of Granite Bluff, Richard (Joanne) Donaldson of Kingsford, Scott (Amy) Donaldson of Sparta, WI, and Todd (Julie) Donaldson of Aurora; two daughters Kim (Don) Dinnocenzo of Iron Mountain and Kathy (Norman) Calkins of Kingsford; three brothers Gene Donaldson of Sagola, Donald (Debbie) Donaldson of Channing, and Daniel (Gail) Donaldson of Florence; three sisters Janet (Roy) Harshman of Channing, Sharon Olson of Alaska, and Cynthia (Norman) Rouse of Channing; twenty grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his father Donald Donaldson in 1994 and a granddaughter Stephanie Calkins in 1987. Private family visitation will be held. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2004, at 1:00p.m., at the First Baptist Church at 1301 Frank Pipp Drive in Iron Mountain. Pastor Keith Wall will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park.
