Jaclyn R. White, 59, of Florence, Wis., passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008, at her home.
She was born November 17, 1948, in Iron Mountain, Mich., daughter of the late Herbert and Phyllis (McCraw) Tennermann. Jaclyn married Robert White on November 26, 1966, in Florence. He preceded her in death in 1999. They resided in Florence after being married. She worked at Lloyd's Restaurant, Witynski Hardware, and most recently at the Black Bear.
Jaclyn was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a volunteer for the Florence Rescue Squad. She enjoyed many hobbies including, camping, fishing, and especially spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Jeff White, Florence; one daughter, Lori (Dan) McVannel, Florence; two sisters, Joanne (Bill) Taff, Florence, Mary Jane (Jack) Kilnes, Arvada, Colo.; two grandchildren, Cory and Destinee McVannel; one sister-in-law, Patricia Tennermann, Tacoma, Wash.; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents and husband, Robert White, Jaclyn was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Tennermann; and one sister, Susan Steber.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 17, 2008, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, Florence. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 11:00 AM at the church. Fr. Michael Betley will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Florence.
