Iron Mountain: Isabelle L. Alimenti, age 88, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Saturday, October 15, 2005, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers, Mich. She was born December 27, 1916, in Beaver Island, Mich. the daughter of the late Barney Mooney and Rose Jakank. On October 14, 1932, she married Ittilio Alimenti at Saint Mary & Joseph Church in Iron Mountain. They were lifelong residents of Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1987. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Survivors include her son Dr. Don (Theresa) Alimenti of Escanaba, Mich., a step-sister Lillian Osterberg, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Ittilio, Isabelle was preceded in death by her son Terry and her brothers Albon Mooney and Alfred Roach. Private visitation and services were held. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
