Irene E. Trulock, 93, of Niagara, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich. She was born March 16, 1920, in Niagara, daughter of the late Valentine and Mary (Ruckowski) Krzyzaniak. Irene grew up in Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School. She married George (Pete) Trulock on August 4, 1957. Irene sold Avon and Sarah Coventry Jewelry for years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Irene loved to travel, visiting Poland and France to honor her heritage; she volunteered actively at the VFW and the Oscar G. Johnson Veteran's Hospital. Irene is survived by one daughter, Carole (Barry) Jolette, Pleasanton, Calif. and one sister, Bernice Johnston, Iron Mountain, Mich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George and one son, Dale Brisbane. In accordance with Irene's wishes private family services will be held.
