Hulda Kenney, 83, of Amasa, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. She was born March 8, 1926, in Brantwood, Wis. Hulda married Emil Kenney of May 13, 1950, in Chicago, Ill. She worked as an office manager for the Sheldon Machine Company, Chicago. Hulda and Emil moved to Crystal Falls in 1993, after their retirement. Hulda is survived by her husband, Emil Kenney; one son, Chester Kenney, Harvard, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ann Maki; three brothers, Toivo, Arvid, and Leo Ahonen.
