Tipler: Howard M. White age 80, of Tipler, Wisconsin died Friday August 12, 2005 at the Veterans Administration Center in Iron Mountain.
Howard was born on February 27, 1925 in Alvin, Wisconsin son of the late Charles and Lucinda (Gayhart) White.
Howard grew up in Tipler, Wisconsin and attended school there. He married Ella Ritchie on September 17, 1955 in Bulan, Kentucky. They resided for three years before moving to Tipler. While in Tipler Howard worked as a logger and was self employed. He was a member of the Gospel Chapel in Iron River, Michigan.
Howard enjoyed many hobbies including; gardening, fishing, hunting and reading. He especially enjoyed his children and grandchildren and will be missed by all.
He is survived by, his loving wife of 49 years Ella. Five son's, Charles (Julie) White of Iron Mountain, MI., John White of Tipler, WI., James (Christy) White of Tipler, WI., Howard (Shirley) Stromberg of Idaho and Allen (Peggy) Stromberg of Idaho. Two daughters, Rose (Terry) Huss of Freedom, WI., Cindy (Mike) White of Crystal Falls, MI. One sister Norma (George) Petroff of Iron River, MI., 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Besides his parents Howard is preceded by, one brother Durward White, one grandson Derick and one great granddaughter Destiny
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:30pm- 2pm at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home in Florence. Funeral services will be Tuesday 2pm at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home. Rev. Helen DeGuzman will officiate. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery in Tipler, Wisconsin.
