Hilda Anne Holm, age 92, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Southern California and of Michigan, died peacefully at The Springs Long Term Care Facility in Sarasota on September 4, 2023.

Hilda was born in Pennsylvania on October 1, 1930. She moved to Southern California with her family in 1948. She completed college in California and went on to earn a Master's degree and teach high school English. Hilda married Jack D. Holm in June of 1954. They were married 49 years before his passing in March of 2003. Hilda then moved to Florida to be near her daughter and grandsons. She enjoyed her friends and family and was an avid reader.

Hilda is survived by her son and daughter, two "adopted" sons and two grandsons, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, May 6, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, Amasa, Mich. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place in the Amasa Cemetery.
