Herbert Davis, 54, of Pembine, Wis. passed away, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at his home.
Herb was born October 30, 1956, son of the late Herbert E. Davis and LaVeta (Smith) Davis; surviving, of Milwaukee, Wis. He grew up and attended school in Milwaukee. Herb served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1975. After the service, he worked as a truck driver in Milwaukee and for several different foundries. Herb married Rosemarie Manganaro on June 10, 1997 in Illinois. Soon after being married, they moved to Wausaukee, Wis., then Oconto, Wis. until 2000, at which time they moved to Pembine.
Herb enjoyed fishing, hunting, all sporting events, especially watching the Green Bay Packers. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie; two daughters, Amanda Davis, Milwaukee, Danielle Davis, Kenosha, Wis.; one step-son, Kyle Anderson, Pembine; one step-daughter, Kristina Anderson, Pembine; two brothers, Keith Davis, Milwaukee, Mark Davis, Milwaukee; four sisters, Glenda (Ed) Hays, Milwaukee, Renee (Richard) Newburry, Milwaukee, Rita (Teddy) Jetty, Milwaukee, Sandy (Bill) Rocki, Milwaukee; one grandson, Michael Davis; many step-sisters and step-brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron Mountain. The Uren-Cooper-Johnson American Legion Post No. 50 of Iron Mountain will conduct a Veteran Memorial Service, Tuesday, 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Herb's brother-in-law, Ed Hays, will officiate.
