Crystal Falls: Henry R. Ollila age 87, of Crystal Falls, Michigan died on Saturday November 6, 2004 at Iron County General Hospital in Iron River, Michigan. Henry was born on October 24, 1917 in Crystal Falls, Michigan son of the late Henry and Hilma Ollila. Henry lived most all of his life in Crystal Falls. He married Ann Louise Nylund on January 16, 1936 in Maryland. They resided in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania for a few years before moving back to Crystal Falls in 1945. Henry worked many years as Miner and Logger in the Crystal Falls area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Henry is survived by his wife of over 68 years Ann Louise. Two daughters, Carol Snell of Crystal Falls, Michigan and Nancy (Gerald) Kohls of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. One Brother Oliver (Helen) Ollila of Crystal Falls, Michigan. Four grandchildren, Howard, Laura, Robert, and Jodi. Eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Private family visitation and funeral services were held. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Crystal Falls.
